I finally listened to some of his routines when I heard he'd died.This guy is a lot more than a comedian. This is brilliant.

Yes, I agree. There is mode depth to Carlin's material than most comedians..And its more timeless since he didn't bring up a lot of things that happened at the time like Leno, Letterman and the likes of them.

Carlin always talked about small things (like this video "stuff") and also important things religion and politics.Notice how the deeper meaning is about materialism. So even in this skit he is talking about an important issue.

Unfortunaly links are difficult to post in youtube. I guess it has a positive side though, people are less likely to go into websites with illegal material (which they find through youtube) or go to websites which will load viruses etc into their computers. |
